Tell us a little bit about yourself!
In 2015 a career change was needed...for lots of reasons. I had been dreaming of a flower shop for many years, and when a new shop opened in town looking for part time help, I jumped on the opportunity. I quit a high paying, stressful job for a minimum wage part time job. Obviously I needed a change and that change required nothing short of a leap of faith. I was in that place of, "what do I have to lose?" My husband could supply you a long list of things he thought I was giving up, but I jumped anyway....and I have never looked back.
What made you launch your brand?
Covid. Yep, I had turned that part-time job into a full time lead role and then covid came around and like lots of folks I was faced yet again with taking a leap of faith or starting all over again with a new shop. This time around my husband's list was a list of reasons why I should launch myself and not go find a job with someone else. Unlike 2015, this time I listened to him and went for it.
