ABOUT FRISSON

Frisson Designs was born in 2017, inspired by my travels to France, where I fell in love with vintage textiles, antiques, the crafts made by the local people and the stories they hold. My father, a skilled engraver and painter, nurtured my appreciation for handcrafts, a passion further enriched by my journeys to India, Bhutan, Nepal, and across Europe and the UK. Each destination deepened my love for traditional artistry and timeless craftsmanship.

Having lived on both U.S. coasts and traveled the world, I’ve embraced diverse perspectives and cultures, weaving them into Frisson Designs. My creative outlets—painting, sewing, sketching, love of music and gardening—are driven by a love for contrasts: rugged stone paired with soft florals, youth’s curiosity balanced by the wisdom of age, and stories told through textures and design. Museums, galleries, books, film and travel remain a source of endless inspiration, fueling my passion for art and storytelling.

Frisson Designs is where artistry and heritage intertwine. Rooted in a love for craftsmanship, I curate and create timeless pieces - from antique French linens to hand-painted stationary, pottery, and artwork. Each piece tells a story, celebrating the beauty of tradition and the art of slow yet bold living.
