Tell us a little bit about yourself!
When did you start ZB Couture? What made you want to launch your brand?
Art and design has been my passion since I was a little girl, there was nothing that made me happier than a box full of crayons or a few bottles of paint. As a result, I used to spend hour upon hour creating beautiful pictures and fantasizing about becoming a real artist & designer when I grew up.
As a teen, I was accepted to the prestigious National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan. where I earned a Bachelor of Textile Design. It was there that I began to fuse my artistic abilities with textiles. In 2008, after moving to New York for postgraduate study at the famed Fashion Institute of Technology. I loved the transformation of my printed textiles into 3 Dimensional art pieces. And I realized my dream of bringing my artwork to life, watching as my creations danced and swirled on fashion runways.
After an inspiring nine-year career designing prints for leading international textile companies and luxury retailers, like Neiman Marcus. For more creative freedom, more challenges, In 2020, I launched my brand ‘ZB Couture’. “ZB Couture’ features hand-painted, made-to-order gowns for bridal and formal occasions. Each gown offers timeless and classic beauty through my intricately hand-painted motifs on luxury fabrics of the highest
quality. Every dress is a hand-painted romance on fabric – moving, flowing, serving as a testament to the blossoming of new love.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Life becomes more meaningful when you realize the simple fact that you’ll never get the same moment twice.
